Surrender to God

During a time of prayer, I saw a file cabinet with neatly organized files. Each file was being ripped open and becoming shattered.
The people in the vision had neatly organized their lives to put God, ministry, family etc into an individual file.
I heard the Father saying, “I want to invade each one of your files with the  FIRE of my presence consuming up every thought, action, idea, fear and doubt. I want to set you on FIRE with my presence and my love.My kingdom purposes are greater than he that is in the world. You have everything that pertains to life and Godliness. In me,you will Live, Breathe and have my being! Keep your fire burning day and night, worship freely and give out what I have given you LOVE of my son is MORE than enough. No more holding back, you are ready! Listen to my voice and do what I have called you to do. You’re at the starting gate. Get ready!”

Prayer: Father forgive me for doing things my way,I surrender to your ways. Fill me fresh with your spirit and baptize me fresh with your love and presence! I want to walk in your ways for they are higher than mine! I don’t want to hold back any longer but I want ya walk FULLY with you alone. In Jesus name I pray AMEN

Shifting the Atmosphere

7/20/2020

Imagine walking into a room, you feel immediately whether the temperature is hot or cold. You can begin to change the temperature by adjusting the thermostat to becoming warmer or colder, by a turn of the knob.
If the air conditioner or heater wasn’t working,we would immediately replace it with a new one or with one that was working.
I am very grateful to the Lord, to be living in a home, that has an air conditioner to cool off, when I am hot and to be able to turn on a heater to get warm in the colder months.
Some states are warm and more humid, while others may be drier and/or colder. Thank the Lord, that we have the freedom in the USA to be able to travel and/or move to a preferred state of our liking. We may adapt to the climate and not paying much attention to the temperatures on a daily basis.
Spiritually, God changes the atmosphere.
In Isaiah 45:18 says:
For this says the Lord, who created the heavens, who formed the earth and made it, he establishes it, he did not create it empty, he formed it to be inhabited; I am the Lord and there is no other.God spoke and therefore it was! We can begin to agree with what God says by agreeing with the WORD of God and speak it forth!
We are to be imitators of God.
(Ephesians 5:1)

Throughout the Bible, Jesus shifted atmospheres, wherever he went. In the song, by Bryan and Katie Torwalt they sing about “When he walks in the room, everything changes”
Things shift and change with the presence of Jesus!
Imagine Jesus walking into the temple of God, he discerned the idolatry, pride and freedom of man. He was not pleased with the money changers selling doves in the temple environment. He began to change the atmosphere as he felt a righteous indignation arising inside of him. He turned the tables over and spoke into the atmosphere his displeasure of the place not being a house of prayer, but instead being a den of thieves.
Jesus had a mission to fulfill on the earth and to destroy the works of darkness. He came to heal, save and deliver those that were sick and needed healing. Many times the atmosphere prevented him from moving due to the heavy unbelief. The Word of God says, that without faith it is impossible to please the Lord.

And he did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith. (Matthew 13:58)

CHANGING the atmosphere starts with YOU!
The thoughts you have MATTER into bringing changes into the atmosphere. Think about how you wake up in the morning? What are your thoughts? What are you speaking? What are you agreeing with? Commit the day to the Lord and your plans will succeed! Begin to take every thought captive, bringing it into the obedience of Christ and declaring you have the mind of Christ! Think on the things that are lovely, pure and a good report! (Philippians 4:8)
Speak Romans 12:2 over yourself
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good, acceptable and perfect.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, forgive me for agreeing with negativity, darkness or sins of the eyes, flesh or pride. Fill me with your presence and help me to me an atmosphere changer for the good and for your Glory! Help me to think on the things that are lovely, pure and a good report. I ask for discernment of the temperature of the atmosphere and for your spirit to move through me to begin to shift things for good! Thank you Jesus for working in me your will and for your good pleasure! Amen!

Gentleness

The dictionary definition of Gentleness is the quality of being kind, soft spoken or mild mannered or a softness of action or effect.

When I think of GENTLENESS a picture of handling a new born baby comes to mind. We tend to handle that baby with great care and softness. We speak to the baby in a soft voice and that shows love. We wouldn’t think of picking up the baby roughly or throwing the baby unless you were in some kind of deranged state of mind. Many people have no clue what GENTLENESS is because of the abuse they have reduced all their life. This is the opposite of gentleness one that is rough and unkind. When a baby is stroked with the mother’s fingers this shows GENTLENESS and love toward the baby.

God is a gentle God and will draw us to himself and show his kindness and gentleness in many ways. He speaks to us in a gentle way and wants us to speak to others gently and be sensitive to each person.

A gentle answer turns away wrath,
but a harsh word stirs up anger.

Proverbs 15:1 NIV

Gracious words are a honeycomb,
sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.

Proverbs 16:24 NIV

Prayer: Father forgive me for being insensitive and harsh to myself, you and others. Tenderize my heart to become more gentle. I want to know you God as a gentle God, not one that is harsh or mad at me. Would you reveal yourself to me as a gentle God? In Jesus name AMEN.

Faithfulness

Faithfulness is being loyal to someone or something.
We all have e a measure of that inside of us, it’s just who do you turn your faithfulness to?
Many are faithful to God or in their marriage, faithful to a job, faithful to a pet or even to a certain activity.
Being unfaithful to someone or something can stir up many emotions inside of us. A betrayal in a marriage of one of the partners unfaithfulness can cause a mountain of anger and distrust.

God is not looking for perfection or people who seem to have it all together. He is simply searching for those who will be committed and faithful. Faithfulness is being loyal, steadfast, and dependable.

Faithfulness is a characteristic that has not always been displayed to me. People have left me and not shown their care for me or unable to love me like I would want them to. I kind of look at faithfulness and trust as parallel.
After becoming a believer in Christ, I have grown to trust the Lord in many areas. I have learned that he is FAITHFUL and that he would never leave me or forsake me. He is loyal and trustworthy, FAITHFUL to his word.

1 Corinthians 1:9

God is FAITHFUL through whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

1 John 1:9 He is FAITHFUL

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Prayer: Father I come to you now and forgive me when I have been unfaithful to you or others. Fill me with a desire to know you as a faithful God that never leaves me. Draw me into your heart so I will know you and your faithfulness.
In Jesus name AMEN.

Goodness

What is goodness?

The definition of goodness is the quality of being morally good or virtuous."a belief in the basic goodness of mankind"
Everything in life there is opposites. We learn this as a preschooler. Good vs bad
Light vs dark, up vs down, etc...
In everything in life there is a polar opposites.
We know when someone is being good to us and we know when someone is being bad to us.
Well, let me tell you, God is GOOD and the devil is BAD! God loves us and the devil hates us because we are made in his image.

So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them Genesis 1:27

There are many things happening in the world and many are not good. We have to sometimes really look again and again to find the good .
God is good, the Bible talks about his GOODNESS and mercy will follow us all the days of our life.

Psalm 23

Oh, taste and see that the Lord is GOOD Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him. Psalm 34:8

Every GOOD gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.

James 1:17

Prayer: Father God forgive me for looking at you wrongly, I want to see you as a GOOD God. Would you heal my spiritual eyesight so that I would see your goodness and who you are. Change my heart and my mindsets and help me to know you as a GOOD Father God. In Jesus name AMEN
